Magical, fantastical ewe-nicorn

So I made this for Liz's birthday...hope she likes it! If we converge on nothing else, stars and glitter are that which we can both agree is awesome...

A plant cozy if you will...

So I was introduced to the idea of a "plant cozy" on etsy.com shortly before Christmas and decided to make one for Gillian. I knew, if anyone, she could appreciate something as odd and unnecessary as this. Additionally, it gave me a chance to practice my applique skills...in which I use the term "skills" very lightly. And I like panda bears. A lot.

Soon to come...my car has been out of commission [in the shop] for weeks now. My friend Alice so kindly let me use her extra car, so I will be repaying her in solid gold plushie...

Evil Yeti Octopus

So while some of my lesser, preliminary creatures were given away as last minute gifts, I have finished my first major undertaking in the plushie world: Evil Yeti Octopus. He was a gift for Ben's birthday, so I didn't name him (although I think Dr. Maniacal would be appropriate...).
